New piece “Armor” inspired by the one and only, Natalie Shau. Very happy with the end result.
I plan on working on more personal pieces, as well as some logos in the near future. Keep checking back.

I wanted to do something clean and stylistic as well as detailed. This image came to me very randomly (as most do). I took a picture of the angled razor and used Poser 7 to render the hand, so the angle would line up perfectly. It was pretty crucial, it also saved a lot of time trying to match the razor with an actual photograph of a hand.

I wanted to try something different from my usual clean artwork, this whole piece came together randomly. Using this woman’s image as a base (Tasastock) I constructed multiple textures around her. I wanted something abstract and to have a painting like feel. I enjoyed creating this because there was no preconceived idea, just what I thought of in the very moment of it’s creation.

The second installment of my 3 part 2001: A Space Odyssey series (my first is here) This is one of my favorite scenes in the movie, the dismantling of HAL 9000 after killing the crew. I fabricated everything you see, the face was created in Poser 7 while the helmet and HAL were created with the pen tool and gradients.
In other news, I completed Asyst’s t-shirt design for their upcoming CD release show, click here to check it out!

After many thoughts and considerations, I decided to re-do one of my old pieces in honor of my best friend who passed away in 2004. This one holds a very special meaning to me, as the original (click here) won me a digital art competition at CSUMB (California State University of Monterey Bay) in 2005. My skills have greatly improved over the course of 7 years, and I can finally give it justice visually, the way it was meant to be seen. It also marks my first digital creation of 2012. You will forever be in our hearts Toto, I love you and miss you everyday.

Finally, after weeks of tweaking and editing, my new site is finally complete! I’ve decided to use the Behance Prosite as my main page, the quality and convenience is amazing. It basically links my Behance portfolio automatically while updating my main site with minimal effort. I also get to display my art and designs like never before along with a detailed description. Happy New Year everyone, here’s hoping it is another successful one!

“This Is The Life” added. My last creation of 2011! This was actually a rejected album cover for the band Dissipate (Based out of Livermore, CA). I ended up redoing the whole thing and decided to use this as a personal piece.
“Odyssey Part 1: Arrival” added. I plan to make two more parts to this particular series. I’m a huge fan of Stanley Kubrick’s take on 2001: A Space Odyssey. Posted a couple new logos on my Facebook page, check them out and “Like” me if you have an account.
